The Hood Cartel indeed functions as more than a rap group; the group produces, mixes, masters, does graphics work, and photography for their own music, and business projects. When you listen to The Hood Cartel, you get a combination of club and street “bangas”. The group cruises in a lane of their own, their delivery is raw, and edgy but has that southern influence in it. Since the early 2000’s, THC has flooded the streets and internet with several mixtapes and performed at several venues. Their most recent projects include mixtapes “Written N Stone” by K Neezy , “Unlawful Entry” by Crondo, and a group effort entitled “Co-Defendants”. They were recently nominated for the Best Group at the 2011 South West Urban Music Awards.
THC is in demand amongst the Southwest state lines and steadily working; growing their resume, and building their brand. They are currently preparing for a few projects that will include more new music, and a new website. No release dates will be given as of now on when any of the projects will be finished, but fans will definitely be in for a few things that solidifies why they initially became THC fans.
Keep up with The Hood Cartel on their official website http://www.thehoodcarteltv.com.
