The Tremont House in Galveston Unveils New Look for The Rooftop Bar

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 11, 2011 - The Tremont House, a Wyndham Grand® Hotel and National Trust Historic Hotel of America, has unveiled a new sophisticated, modern lounge atmosphere for The Rooftop Bar, located four stories above street level on the hotel’s roof and offering a spectacular view of Galveston’s historic downtown and harbor. The bar’s traditional wrought iron seating has been replaced with cozy sectional seating areas and bar high tables and chairs. In the evenings, the rooftop takes on a soft glow with illuminated pots and eight-foot, lighted Manzanita tree.

“The Rooftop Bar at The Tremont House offers an amazing bird’s-eye view of Galveston,” says The Tremont House Hotel Manager Marty Miles. “This new design and décor now offers more seating and an inviting environment where guests can enjoy a cocktail, relax and unwind.”

The bar offers its Rooftop Sharing Plates featuring an array of international meats including ham, pâté, sausage, Italian Spec-smoked prosciutto, Herbes de Provence-crusted dry salami, green peppercorn salami, Rosette de Lyn salami and mortadella. Locally-sourced Texas cheese offerings include “Redneck Cheddar” and “Paragon” from Dublin, Texas, as well as “Deep Ellum Blue” and “Hoja Santa,” produced in Dallas.
