The evening's first speaker kept the club members on the edges of their seats as she delivered an entertaining presentation called "Free Falling".  No, Ashley Lawrence did not speak about going to a Tom Petty concert, but rather about how first time jumping out of an airplane recently.  Her jump was from a height of 12,000 feet!  Following her presentation, Ashley showed the club a short video recording of her jump as well.

Our second prepared speaker, Brenda Masters-Stout, CPA, gave an informative address about "Audits".  Brenda spoke about the importace of business audits and organizational audits rather than tax audits, which is what comes to mind when most of us hear the word 'audit'.

The club will next meet on Tuesday, 8-16-11  at the Challlicombe House in Hillsboro at 7 PM.  Guests are always welcome.  The prepared speakers for the next meeting will be Todd Austin & Nita Markos.
