PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 13, 2011 – As the front man for a group called Target in the late 70’s, Jimi Jamison released two albums on A&M Records, moved on to sing with Cobra on Epic Records in the early 80’s, and by 1983, Jimi received an invitation to join Survivor, while lead singer having numerous Top Ten Songs, #1 Videos and Millions of CD sales! Presently with two number one singles in Germany, Jamison is heading to the Greater Boston area for his 5th performance in less than a year ready to rock a packed house. Multi Platinum hits under his belt, a face and voice recognized all over the world .
Jimi Jamison also is best known for such hits as “Search Is Over”, “High On You”, “Burning Heart”, and the theme from the TV show Baywatch, “I’m Always Here” and many more. He will be performing all of the hits you know and love including stuff from his latest album Crossroads Moment. Jimi is currently touring Worldwide as a Solo Artist - recording, and awaiting the anticipated release of a duet album with Former Toto Member Bobby Kimball with Frontiers Records which is already being talked about as what is to be a huge success.
Last show Jamison while singing "Eye of the Tiger" brought Boxing Legends TKO Tony DeMarco and Micky Ward (Inspiration for the movie The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg) to the stage just a couple of weeks prior to The Fighter hitting the big screen, both returning for the show on July 22nd. "Jimi is awesome, I have always been a fan to be on the stage with him singing was one of the most moving moments in my life, then when he walked Manny to the ring doing the same thing, was even more exciting, happened here first with us in the Boston area as so much does. To get to experience that in your own territory with people who you have grown up with fans, and friends in the room is amazing," states Micky Ward. In addition to Jimi's career as a lead vocalist, he has also made six music videos and has made multiple television appearances. He has served on the Grammy Awards Committee and is a member of AFTRA, SAG, and NARAS. He has performed back up vocals for recordings by ZZ Top, Krokus, Jeff Healy Band, and numerous other recording artists. Jimi has co-written songs with musicians such as Joe Walsh.
