Marlee Scott Sings National Anthem At Cincinnati Reds Game

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 26, 2011 – (NASHVILLE, Tennessee) Country music artist Marlee Scott sang the national anthem before the Cincinnati Reds took on the Toronto Blue Jays this past Saturday, June 18, at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The performance added to a series of other anthem appearances for Marlee, including the Nashville Predators, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, and the Oakland A’s versus the New York Yankees, where she also performed “God Bless America.”

Originally from Alberta, Canada, this rising star moved to Nashville three years ago to bring her music to the U.S. Country fans.  Marlee has received a 2010 CCMA Rising Star Nomination and a 2011 CRMA Nomination for her song “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow.”  Signed to Big Ride Entertainment in 2008, Marlee is working closely with manager Gerry Leiske (former manager of Emerson Drive) developing her sound, songs and image. Marlee’s latest release, “Here to Heaven,” charted at No. 13 in Australia and held the No. 1 spot in the UK for several weeks.

Marlee Scott’s new single, “Beautiful Maybe” hits Country radio June 27. The single was produced by David Kalmusky (Journey, Emerson Drive) and co-written by chart-topping Nashville songwriters Marcus Hummon (Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw), Tia Sellers (Pam Tillis, Lee Ann Womack), and Tania Hancheroff. “Beautiful Maybe” has a positive spirit and message that fittingly reflects Marlee’s personality.
