PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 13, 2011 – Tim Urban surfaced as an American Idol heartthrob when he placed as a finalist in Season 9 of the competition. Since the release of his first EP "Heart Of Me", Urban has relocated to Los Angeles intent on being signed to a label and further his acting career. His upcoming trip to New York and the Midwest provides a great opportunity for Urban to reconnect with fans across the country and to promote his music. Building upon the style of his first EP, for his new full length album Tim is busy developing what he calls a "uniquely Tim Urban sound".
In addition to music, Urban has been exploring his acting career with help from renowned acting coach Pam Shae, previous VP of Casting and Executive of Talent at Spelling Television. He's been asked regularly to visit television and film sets and according to a spokesperson for Urban, "We are reviewing scripts and projects in search of the right opportunity".
In his free time, Urban maintains an active lifestyle and has given both his time and support to charity events in the Los Angeles area. His support of the U.S. Military and it's veterans has been featured both online and in print magazines and he is always willing to use his popularity for a good cause.
