during surgery, taking physical therapy until the age of (16yrs. old). Through all
of this, being left partially paralyzed for the rest of my life, experiencing two
more strokes at the ages of (19 & 23yrs old).
Author-Poet Ricardo Owens has come a long way and will be a special guest on the Dark Mantis Talk to tell his story on how he enjoys being a poet and author. His book “Abstract Beyond Vizions” entails how he struggled through life at an early age and perseveres to become the young man that he is today. This creative and talented Poet created this novel to tell of hisstruggles and he also embraces his struggles. He states, “There is no excuse for anyone” and he means what he says.
Author-Poet Ricardo Owens spends his time on stage performing as a spoken word artists and states that he is currently working on his second book to be released sometime next year. He is very passionate about poetry and being a spoken word artist. He loves the atmosphere and the vibe spoken word artists, rappers and poets possess. Author Jeanette Michelle will share his interview on the Dark Mantis talk Show on Wednesday, July 13th 2011.
